Often preferred as a snack, fresh fruit drinks are a preferred choice in many Indian households. They can easily replace your soup course in the muggy monsoon heat, or can be served as a fresh appetizer too.

Often preferred as a snack, fresh fruit drinks are a preferred choice in many Indian households. They can easily replace your soup course in the muggy monsoon heat, or can be served as a fresh appetizer too.
These cool and refreshing drinks will give you that much needed extra kick to keep you up and about throughout the day. Here are some great recipes for healthy drinks that can be prepared in a jiffy with the help of some fresh fruits, a few other ingredients and a cocktail shaker...

Blueberry boost: This drink can be prepared in a no seconds and all you need for them is half a jar of blueberries, mixed with creamy yogurt, honey and your lip smacking blueberry boost drink is ready.
Pomegranate passion: This drink is extremely high in antioxidants level and all you need to do in order to prepare this is - whip together ½ a cup of orange juice along with ½ a cup of pomegranate juice and pineapple juice.
Pure pineapple breeze: This drink is prepared by mixing 1/2 a cup of coconut juice mixed well along with ½ a cup of pineapple juice. Add a bit of honey and rock salt to it, your pineapple breeze drink is ready.
Nature’s love: Take a handful of wheat grass and mix well with ½ a cup of grape juice, crushed ice, rock salt and 1/2 tablespoon of honey. You nature’s love drink is ready.
Banana fun: Chop and freeze two large bananas. After freezing them, blend the pieces along with ½ a cup of soy milk (or low-fat milk). If you want you can add a wee bit of chocolate syrup to it for an extra boost of flavours.
Monsoon magic: Take a few cherries and mash them in a blender by adding a bit of water. Throw in ¼ cup orange juice, crushed pieces of ice and a pinch of salt. Pour this mixture into a tall glass and drink right away.
